Ladbroke Grove | London
Within a beautifully converted barn the client wanted to make a statement for their beautiful double hight kitchen space. The kitchen island spanned 3m in length and the client opted for an integrated sink as part of the piece. The clients wanted the island to be used as a breakfast bar and also as an extra kitchen preparation space. This gives the island multiple uses and it turns the island into a lovely social space for family and friends to sit. Creating this friendly organic space is very important in a huge open plan kitchen. The photos show the stunning polished concrete worktop, in situ with 2 down-stands, one on either side of the island. The photos show the beautiful characteristics of the concrete. The edge detail has some gorgeous mould marks which add great character to such a great space.
